THE VOLKSWAGEN LT 4x4

The Volkswagen LT was build during a period of 21 years. Five million LT's left the factory.

The first generation was called Typ 28 and was build from april 1975 till July 1991.

The second generation was called Typ 21 and was build from August 1991 till December 1995.

The LT's were either light trucks (till 3.5 tonnes, to be driven with a B driver's licence) or truck ( over 3.5 tonnes, to be driven with a C1 driver's license)

The VW LT was only sold in Europe. In Spain it was sold as Pegaso Ekus. In Brasil build LT's were marketed in USA as Peterbilt Midrangers
